Mainland Sojourners (for students entering grades 9/10/11/12) is a perfect experience for senior high age young people--ask anyone that has been here in the past. The programming for the week has plenty of action, plenty of hang out time, and lots of crazy happenings, a great mix for old and new campers. Speakers, singing and worship are especially motivating, while the spiritual nurturing of the staff is personal to each camper. The staff at the Point love to hang out as God's people--and we know that Sr. High campers do, too. "I was thinking about how I am broken. My counselor prayed for me and I feel better. Every time I leave camp, I’m not the same. This time I am going to try to stay with Christ." "This camp helped me so much in my walk. It's like you never wanna leave. The staff, the people are so great. It is like God is here." "It blew my mind at how much I felt God’s presence around me." (from a first time summer camper)
![]() "I finally pulled someone’s flag in a big game. I was so excited. I was ecstatic!" "I regained more openness—all of the talks & stuff made me be more open." |
