Lil' Earth Explorers, May 12 - 14

Lots to do and great spring weather made for three afternoons of exploration in the north woods.  Lisa, Sara, and Megan headed up the
activities and learning for the 10 children.  Happy faces show lots of fun was had by all.  Beaver studies and nature bingo topped the list of      favorites for this year.   Ask any one of them to sing the beaver song and you are in for a treat.

The beaver pelt was a special moment.       Lil Earth Explorers gather around to learn about beavers.

There was always time to sit in the sun and learn something new about our world.
A hike along the lake was enjoyed as beaver signs were found.

The beaver motions and song were done throughout the three days. Nature Bingo provided time to find these items in the woods.

Another beaver sign is found.

Lots of time outside made for some tired children at the end of their time at Lil Earth.

Everyone holds up their nature bingo game.
Time to play was also in the schedule.

Planting flowers in the big pots at camp is an annual event in this program.

Thanks for coming to Lil Earth.  If you are in K next year, you can come to Rockin Robins for some more fun.
