| Men's Retreat 2010 March 5 - 7 | |||||
| It was a wonderful weekend of activites galore, fun, worship times, and food with 115 participants enjoying the warm sunny days. The speaker was Paul Koptek, Associate Professor of Communication and Biblice Interpretation at North Park Theological Seminary. His message was from Hosea and emphasized the understanding that God remains faithful to those who are unfaithful to Him. Churches represented were from Michigan--Carlshend, Foster City, Gladstone, Iron Mountain, Iron River, Marinette/Menominee, Norway, Stephenson, and Wallace, Wisconsin--Green Bay, Lake Geneva and Sheboygan, and Illinois--Country Elgin, Ravenswood, and the Worship Band. The men collected over $1,700 for Covenant World Relief work in Chile. Activities were broom ball, skeet and cabbage shooting in the Back 40, ice bowling, sauna and ice hole jumping, talking, playing instruments and singing, and games. | |||||
