| One Life Weekend 2 - February 13 - 15 | |||||
| What a great time was had by all 195 participants/leaders and the camp staff volunteers. Speaker for the weekend was Reid Olson from Pine Lake Covenant Church in Seattle, who has been a youth pastor for 18 years. His talks and the theme for the weekend were Reveal, Live, and Desire. Worship was led by the North Park University Worship Band. Activities included what any high school student would love--hanging out together, playing in the snow, eating great food, and connecting with old friends along with meeting new. Outside events were snowshoeing,sledding,broom ball competition, sauna and lake jump, cross country and down hill skiing. Youth groups had the option to experience various spiritual disciplines. Youth groups were from U.P. churches in Gladstone, Norway, Iron Mountain, and Iron River, Wisconsin churches in Green Bay and Boulder Junction, Illinois churches in Rockford, Deergrove, Hinsdale, Naperville, and Winnetka.
