Canoe Trip on the Flambeau River in Wisconsin
July 5 - 11  7th & 8th graders

"I loved the rapids, the camping (I had never done that before).  I discovered that I can do anything I want and not to be scared."

"It was one of the best weeks of summer!  I didn't miss home I was having too much fun!  A great experience in the outdoors."

The week on the Flambeau River went well.  Though busy with many canoe groups, the weather was great, lots of wild life sightings, and the group enjoyed each other and their time with God in the outdoors.  Thanks Megan, Paul, and Kelly for the great trip.

    Prayer time before the start.

"I loved having to cook our food over the firepit."

The girl group loading the canoes.

The start at 9 mile landing on the Flambeau.

We are almost ready to shove off.

Dinner for tonight?

"I loved the canoeing."

This going sideways down the river is only for the photo.

An otter--one of many wild life sightings.

Kelly and Megan--what a great pair of women.

Paul with Shane provided the male perspective.

Rapid floating was a big highlight of the trip.
"I LOVED THE CANOE TRIP."

It is these scenes that are remembered for a long time.
