| Venture Out Women's Backpack Trip Pictured Rock National Shoreline | |||||
| Eleven women were part of 2009 Venture Out. It was a great trip with good challenging hikes during the day, two lovely sunsets, swims in Superior, beautiful camping sites, and about 18 miles of walking along scenic pathways and vistas galore. Each one of you made this trip very special and memorable. There was also a wonderful drop-in by VO women from other trips-- Donna Ahlberg, Stacy Harrison, and her baby, Gray. They hiked in three miles with Gray, 4 mths old, in a baby backpack. Kudos to you for making a long quick trip to join us. You brought smiles to our faces. | |||||
