Women's Retreat   Sept. 28 - 30

It was another great year for the 142 women who came to the Point for a rousing good time of fellowship, singing, listening to a quality speaker,  eating, walking, and looking at the fall colors.  The speaker was DeeAnn Gray, a Pastor from California, and a sister of Kim Spranger of Carlshend.  Her message was on The Heart of a Women.  Activities during the Saturday afternoon were HopeHouse display, island trip, coffe house, herbal cooking, perennial exchange, and rope course.  A special thank you to those who came to help--Jordan Geiger, Denise Hawley, Caitlyn Hautimaki, Andy Meyer, and Jenny Williams.   .

                 band at retreat
                big group singing
Many said how much they enjoyed the band and the singing.      The tab was filled with women, young and old--what a sight.

watching the climbers is fun
watching the herbal cooking is fun
These ladies are watching the climbers and giving some               advice as well.  All enjoyed their afternoon of free time.    Though not smiling a lot at this moment,  this group was learning all they could about healthy cooking

            pontoon to island
            ready for ropes
Despite a cold day, these ladies take to the island for fun.     About 25 women did the ropes course and zipped down again.

                               smiling on the course
                               on the ropes
What better way to climb than to smile while you do it.   Each person can choose which way they want to go and how high.
