Apply for Work Crew!

Summer 2027 Work Crew:

High school students who are ready for an experience of hard work, community, and youth ministry training at camp are encouraged to apply for one of our summer work crews. Grounds and kitchen positions are available and fill quickly. Preference is given to applicants 16 years of age or older. Only 13 applicants are accepted per session.

Session 1: Sunday, June 13 – Friday, July 9 (4 weeks)

Session 2: Saturday, July 10 – Sunday, Aug 8 (4  weeks)

* Session 2 includes the week of UNITE, July 18-23. For applicants planning to go to UNITE, we’ll allow you to take that week off. If any 1st session applicants would like to join us additionally for that week to cover those who are leaving for UNITE, please let us know.

Work Crew Job Descriptions:

2027 Work Crew Compensation:

  • Work Crew (Grounds and Kitchen) is a volunteer position.
  • Each crew member is given a $20/week cash stipend so the crew members each have money to spend in the canteen or on a weekend trip to town during their time off.
  • + $20/week for each year of experience on Work Crew at Covenant Point
  • Work Crew Grant: Work crew at Covenant Point is a half-summer, volunteer, service, discipleship, and leadership program. Applicants are invited to request a need-based grant of up to $500 if finances impede participation. Funds are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Grant applications are open. Grant applications are confidential and have no bearing on crew application decisions. You can find the application here.   • Work Crew 2027 Application (Opens Oct 1!) – Please apply using your own account with an email address you check regularly. If you’ve applied in the past, you should already have an account. If this is your first time, you’ll need to create an account linked to an email that you check regularly. Decisions regarding hiring will be communicated to the email address that you use. Before applying, please see kitchen and grounds crew job descriptions, as well as dates.
  • Work Crew 2027 Reference Form – All applicants must have three references submitted through our online reference form. Applicants are responsible for directing their references to the link. References may not be relatives or peers or anyone currently employed or seeking employment at Covenant Point.
