2026 Retreat Pastor: Rev. Anne Jorgensen

Rev. Anne Jorgensen has been serving in pastoral ministry for over 10 years and currently serves as Lead Pastor of First Covenant Church in Moline, Illinois. This year is especially meaningful as the church celebrates 150 years of God’s faithfulness in the community.
She was married last year to her husband, Paul, and together they share life with their energetic dog, Eddy, who keeps them laughing and on their toes. She loves visiting national parks and exploring new places.
She has a deep love for the theme of hope in Scripture, because it’s not rooted in circumstances but anchored in who God is. And God is Faithful. Full of mercy, steady in love, and always at work. Hope leads and sustains us in our walk with Jesus, giving us the courage to keep going, and reminding us that in Christ, hope will never disappoint.
2026 Retreat Theme: Eating with Jesus
Throughout the Gospels, Jesus shows up at tables. He eats with friends and strangers. With people who are faithful and people who are complicated. With people who get it right and people who don’t. Faith, for Jesus, is not lived at a distance. It’s lived close enough to pass the bread. So often it is during a meal where Jesus enacts the kingdom of God and offers grace, hope, promise, and salvation. Come and receive all that Christ is offering us as we explore the many stories of Eating with Jesus.
